about
The 47th President of the United States
Donald J. Trump ignited one of the most remarkable political movements in modern history—toppling long-standing political families, defeating the Washington establishment, and becoming the first true outsider to win the presidency. His groundbreaking campaign stunned pollsters, analysts, and the media, proving their predictions wrong. With massive rallies and a message of national renewal, he energized millions of voters, overcame enormous political and financial resistance, and secured a decisive victory, winning states Republicans had not captured in decades.
For the first time in years, the forgotten men and women of America felt represented by a leader who put America First.
Through policies focused on American workers—spanning trade, tax reform, energy production, deregulation, immigration, and healthcare—President Trump oversaw strong economic expansion. Job creation surged, wages rose, and household incomes reached record highs. Middle-class earnings saw growth far beyond that of the previous administration. Unemployment fell to its lowest level in 50 years, with African-American, Hispanic-American, and Asian-American unemployment all reaching all-time lows. More people were working than ever before.
President Trump championed American energy, transforming the United States into the world’s leading producer of oil and natural gas. This new era of Energy Independence brought lower energy costs and increased national and economic security. His energy agenda also included major efforts in conservation and environmental stewardship—cleaning polluted sites, advancing renewable energy, investing billions in clean water projects, and reducing carbon emissions more than any other nation. His signing of the Great Outdoors Act marked the most significant commitment to national parks since Theodore Roosevelt, and he joined the One Trillion Trees Initiative to restore forests worldwide.
He consistently supported America’s military, veterans, and law enforcement. President Trump backed police officers and sheriffs, strengthened the armed forces with historic levels of funding, and overhauled the Department of Veterans Affairs to eliminate past scandals and ensure veterans received proper care.
Recognizing that border security is essential to national security, President Trump implemented what became the most secure border in U.S. history. He negotiated landmark agreements across the Western Hemisphere to combat smuggling, trafficking, and illegal migration. He reformed the H-1B program to protect American workers, enforced rules requiring new arrivals to be self-sufficient, empowered ICE to remove dangerous criminals, reduced asylum abuse, lowered refugee admissions to sustainable numbers, and restricted travel from high-risk regions without adequate vetting.
On the world stage, he advanced a strategy of “principled realism.” He brokered historic Middle East peace agreements, ended long-standing foreign conflicts, challenged oppressive regimes, strengthened global stability, and pushed NATO members to contribute more to their own defense.
When the coronavirus arrived from China and spread across the world, President Trump acted quickly—restricting travel from China and Europe, a decision credited with saving many lives. He led the largest industrial mobilization since World War II: rebuilding depleted medical stockpiles, returning key supply chains to American soil, and accelerating the development of medical treatments. Temporary hospitals were rapidly constructed, protective equipment was produced and shipped nationwide, and nursing homes received critical support. Operation Warp Speed delivered multiple highly effective vaccines in record time, manufacturing doses in advance and enabling swift distribution.
Whether confronting the pandemic, defeating terrorists, protecting the border, strengthening the economy, expanding American energy production, or renewing national pride, President Trump remained steadfast in defending American values, families, traditions, and freedoms.
President Trump believes that with commitment to our people, our nation, and our faith, America’s greatest days still lie ahead.
Melanie Trump
Melania Trump is the wife of Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and the mother of their son, Barron. She is only the second First Lady in American history to be born outside the country, and the first to become a naturalized U.S. citizen.
Born on April 26, 1970, in Slovenia, she began modeling at age 16—a path that quickly led her to a successful international career. She appeared in major advertising campaigns and collaborated with renowned photographers from the global fashion industry.
Mrs. Trump moved to New York in 1996 and became a proud U.S. citizen a decade later. Throughout her early years in America, she remained actively involved in charitable and cultural organizations. In 2005, she served as Honorary Chairwoman of the Martha Graham Dance Company and was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the American Red Cross, a position she held for four years. She also spent five years as Honorary Chairwoman of the Boys’ Club of New York, and in 2006 the Police Athletic League recognized her as Woman of the Year.
In 2010, she chaired the American Heart Association’s annual gala, helping raise $1.7 million for medical research. That same year, she introduced her own jewelry line.
As First Lady, Mrs. Trump dedicated her efforts to issues impacting children across the United States. Known for her calm, compassionate presence, she visited children in classrooms, hospitals, care centers, and communities at home and abroad, always emphasizing empathy and support.
She launched the BE BEST initiative to promote the well-being of children and spotlight programs improving their lives. The initiative centered on three themes: supporting children’s emotional and social health; promoting online safety and healthy digital habits; and addressing opioid misuse, especially among vulnerable young people and families affected by addiction.
BE BEST also carried a global dimension. In October 2018, the First Lady undertook a solo trip to Africa, visiting Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, and Egypt to highlight hospitals, schools, and USAID projects improving children’s lives.
Mrs. Trump has consistently shown appreciation for members of the U.S. military and their families, visiting bases both in the United States and abroad—including a trip to Iraq in 2018.
She accompanied the President on numerous international visits and met with more than 30 world leaders, diplomats, and their spouses, advocating for solutions to the challenges facing children worldwide. During her tenure in the White House, she became a symbol of kindness and a strong voice for young people.
Mrs. Trump remains committed to advancing the causes she championed as First Lady and continuing her efforts on behalf of children.
